Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Hutzel Women's Hospital

Our new Family Room will provide the parents with NICU babies a comforting and supportive space for rest, rejuvenation, and emotional relief while staying close to their newborns. This Family Room will have amenities designed to meet the needs of NICU families, including:

Comfortable seating areas
Kitchenette with snacks and beverages
Lactation Lounge
Private spaces for rest and reflection
Bathroom & Shower Facilities
Connections to RMHC Detroit or other family resources for NICU families and patients.

Though everything is set in motion on paper, we are still in need of the funding to follow through on the completion of this project. To support the construction, maintenance, staffing and every day operations of the Family Room for many years to come we ask if you have A Little Room for Love in your heart to please support our project monetarily. Donors contributing $500 or more will have their name displayed on our heart shaped donor wall in the Family Room.
